Jennifer was half a world from home on community work when she met Evance in Arusha. They married, had twin girls, and built a life between Tanzania and California — keeping one foot firmly in each place.

What Jenny brings to an itinerary
Jennifer is from California and has traveled in more than forty-six countries — happiest somewhere new, learning how people live from the people who live there. Volunteer work with communities in Arusha first brought her to Tanzania, and to Evance.
Today she leads marketing for NndeeAfrika and runs Two Hands One Heart TZ, the family’s non-profit near Arusha. It works with the Meserani Chini community to get clean, filtered water into people’s homes, and supports the local government primary school — more than 700 children — through education, a food program and child sponsorship. Because the family has roots in both Tanzania and California, a share of what NndeeAfrika does goes straight back into that community.
She brings a seasoned traveler’s eye to every itinerary we design, and she is usually the first person you will hear from.
