NndeeAfrika LLC, based in California, USA, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you inquire, book or browse, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
Last updated July 2026
When you enquire or book, we collect the details needed to plan and operate your trip: your name, email address, phone number, home city, travel dates, party details (including children’s ages where relevant), passport information for bookings, dietary and health notes you choose to share, and your travel preferences.
When you browse the site, we collect standard technical information such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).
We use your information to respond to enquiries, design and quote itineraries, make reservations with lodges, airlines and ground operators, arrange permits and transfers, provide support while you travel, and handle payments and invoicing.
With your consent, we may also send occasional planning guides and travel updates by email. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
To operate your trip we share only what each partner needs: names and passport details with lodges, camps, airlines and park authorities for reservations and permits; dietary and health notes with the camps hosting you; and contact details with our ground team so they can look after you on arrival.
We also use trusted service providers for payment processing, email delivery and website analytics. They may only use your information to provide services to us, never for their own purposes.
We may disclose information where required by law, or to protect the safety of our guests and staff.
Card payments are processed by PCI-compliant payment providers; NndeeAfrika does not store your full card number on its own systems. Wire transfer details are used solely to reconcile your booking.
We use essential cookies to make the site work and analytics cookies (including Google Analytics) to understand which pages are useful, so we can improve them. Analytics data — such as pages visited, visit length and repeat visits — is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Where we run online advertising, it uses this same aggregated data, handled in accordance with this policy and Google’s privacy policy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will continue to work.
Do Not Track: some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Like most websites, ours does not currently respond to DNT signals, because no common industry standard exists — but since we never sell or share your data for cross-context advertising, the practical effect is the same as if we did.
Our site links to lodges, airlines, review platforms and partner organizations for your convenience. Those sites have their own independent privacy policies, and we are not responsible for information you provide to them — please review their policies before submitting personal details.
Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up the conversation where we left off. Booking records are kept for 7 years to meet tax, accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time (section 08).
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, opt out of marketing emails, and ask what we have shared with service providers.
California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA: the right to know, correct and delete personal information, the right to opt out of its sale or sharing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of them. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by California law.
You may submit a request through our enquiry form, marking it “Privacy request”, and you may use an authorized agent to act on your behalf. We verify requests, respond within 45 days as California law requires (usually much sooner), and under California’s “Shine the Light” law you may also ask annually about disclosures for direct marketing — our answer is simple: we make none.
Visitors from the EU/UK have equivalent rights under GDPR. We honor these rights for all our guests regardless of where you live.
We collect children’s details (names, ages, dietary needs) only from a parent or guardian as part of a family booking, and use them solely to operate the trip. Our website and marketing are not directed at children under 13.
Because your trip takes place in Africa, booking details are necessarily transferred to partners in the countries you visit (for example Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Botswana or South Africa). We share the minimum needed and work only with established, reputable operators.
If we make material changes we will update this page and the “last updated” date above, and notify guests with active bookings by email.
Exercising your rights
To access, correct, delete or ask questions about your personal information, use our enquiry form with the subject line “Privacy request.” We respond personally within 30 days, and we never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
