NndeeAfrika LLC is a luxury travel company registered in Fresno, California, USA, specializing in luxury African safari vacation packages, mountain trekking, beach holidays and other adventure travel across Eastern and Southern Africa. The name NndeeAfrika means “let’s go to Africa.”
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required upon confirmation to secure the reservation. Invoices are issued by NndeeAfrika LLC.
When booking over the festive season (December 15 to January 5 annually), a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking.
For Rwanda gorilla permits, full payment for the permit is required upon confirmation to secure the permits.
The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to guest arrival. Payment can be made by wire transfer or by credit card — some surcharges may apply depending on the bank.
If canceled between 121 and 61 days prior to arrival, 70% of the total will be forfeited.
If canceled between 60 and 0 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total will be forfeited.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory and must be purchased at the time of booking. It must cover cancellation and curtailment, medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation, and lost luggage and personal effects.
Some activities may require additional coverage — check with your insurance provider. NndeeAfrika LLC is not liable for any losses due to cancellation or other circumstances.
In case of emergency, guests will be billed directly by the service provider. Note that AMREF Flying Doctors is only available in Tanzania.
For US travelers we recommend Trawick International — consistently top-rated, with up to $1,000,000 of medical-evacuation cover, the benefit that matters most on safari. Generali Global Assistance, Allianz Travel and Travelex Insurance are also excellent choices. Whichever you choose, confirm the policy meets the coverage requirements above for travel in Africa.
Advance payments: we make advance payments to secure your accommodations and services. If a tour is canceled due to force majeure (natural disasters, war, strikes and similar events), we will refund what we can recover from suppliers, but this is not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for costs incurred by travelers in preparation for a canceled trip, such as non-refundable airfare, visa fees, doctor’s fees, vaccinations or equipment.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have correct and sufficient insurance to cover yourself and your companions for the entire duration of your tour. NndeeAfrika LLC will not cover any costs or losses incurred without the appropriate insurance.
If the guest initiates a last-minute change to their safari itinerary — for example a change of accommodation or domestic flights — any amendment or cancellation fees are to be paid directly by the guest.
Safari package costs are quoted at current rates and are subject to change. Should there be any increase related to government taxes, flight fares or airport taxes, we will update the guest accordingly.
Rates are based on two guests sharing a double room (king-size bed) or twin room (two separate beds), with triple and family rooms subject to the designed lodging. Single rooms are available at an additional supplement but are not guaranteed, depending on third-party accommodation terms.
Malaria: some areas you visit may have malaria. See your doctor before traveling and bring mosquito repellent. It is your responsibility to take anti-malarial precautions.
You need to be in good health for this trip, as you will be in rugged areas with limited medical facilities. By submitting your reservation form and deposit, you confirm you do not have any health conditions that could pose a risk to yourself or others.
If you have any health conditions requiring regular medication, or that might be affected by intense activities, high altitude or certain foods, please inform us in writing before traveling. We may request a doctor’s note to confirm you are fit for certain activities, and we reserve the right to assess suitability.
When booking domestic flights, NndeeAfrika requires guests’ passport details to reserve seats and issue tickets. Domestic flight cancellations are subject to the airline’s terms.
Light-aircraft luggage limits vary between 20kg (44lbs) and 15kg (33lbs) per person including hand luggage and camera equipment, depending on the carrier. Bags must be soft-sided with no rigid frames to fit aircraft belly pods, which are only 25cm (10in) high.
Passengers weighing 100–115kg (220–253lbs) may need to purchase an extra seat — please notify us in advance. Passengers not adhering to these regulations may need to book a private charter at additional cost; excess-luggage storage can be arranged in Maun or Kasane.
Seat-in-plane inter-camp light-aircraft transfers operate on a shuttle basis, which means air carriers cannot be held responsible for delays that result in passengers missing onward connections. Flight times are finalized only the day prior to travel and communicated to guests in camp. There may be between two and four stops when transferring between camps.
By law, the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) requires all light-aircraft manifests to show the full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number and expiry date of each passenger.
Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date of your arrangements and have a minimum of three blank visa pages, excluding endorsement pages.
Visa requirements differ from country to country and are subject to change. Travelers must assume responsibility for checking visa requirements for the countries they are visiting. NndeeAfrika LLC cannot be held responsible if any traveler is refused entry due to not complying with entry regulations.
To avoid being denied entry, please check whether any special documentation is required for children under the age of 18 in the countries you are visiting.
Rates quoted are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as, but not limited to, increases in government taxes and levies (which may include VAT, fuel levy, airport taxes, national park fees, conservation and community levies) as well as currency fluctuations.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they and their dependents have all appropriate travel and medical documentation, including passports, travel permits, vaccination certificates and other required documents. It is your responsibility to report on time for all travel arrangements and to ensure you have all travel tickets and documents.
NndeeAfrika LLC shall not be held responsible for any additional costs if you fail to do so; in the case of passengers being refused entry by any immigration or other authority, all repatriation costs are to be borne by the traveler.
