NndeeAfrika LLC is a luxury travel company registered in California, USA, specializing in luxury African safari vacation packages, mountain trekking, beach holidays and other adventure travel across Eastern and Southern Africa. The name NndeeAfrika means “let’s go to Africa.”
Last updated September 10, 2026 · Applies to new bookings confirmed on or after September 10, 2026
A 30% non-refundable deposit of the total booking value is required to begin securing your booking. Invoices are issued by NndeeAfrika LLC. Bookings confirmed within 90 days of the trip start date — the date the first travel service in your booking begins — require full payment at confirmation.
Festive-season bookings — any booking containing travel services from December 15 through January 5 — and bookings subject to exceptional supplier conditions require a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due 120 days before the trip start date.
For Rwanda and Uganda gorilla permits, full payment for the permit is required upon confirmation to secure the permits. Permits and flights are non-refundable once issued.
Issued airline tickets, local flights, inter-camp air transfers, private charters, exclusive-use properties and other specifically identified services may require full payment at confirmation and may be non-refundable; any such service, and any stricter supplier payment condition, is clearly disclosed in your proposal or invoice before you pay. Changes after ticketing follow the airline’s own terms (see sections 09 and 10).
The remaining balance is due 90 days before the trip start date. Payment can be made by wire transfer or by credit card; any credit-card processing fee, wire-transfer charge or other payment cost is clearly disclosed on the invoice before payment, and you are responsible for fees charged by your own bank or payment provider.
A booking becomes confirmed only after you have accepted these terms, cleared payment has been received and NndeeAfrika has issued written confirmation that the requested services are secured. If the requested services cannot be confirmed, we will offer suitable alternatives or refund the applicable payment.
A $500 USD planning fee per trip is payable before detailed itinerary planning begins. This covers one personalized safari proposal and revisions to refine the itinerary around the traveler’s preferences.
The fee is non-refundable once planning begins. If the traveler books the proposed journey with NndeeAfrika, the full $500 USD is credited toward the required booking deposit and counts toward the total trip price.
Payment of the planning fee does not reserve accommodation, flights or other travel services. Reservations are subject to availability when the booking is confirmed.
\nAll cancellations must be submitted in writing and become effective when received by NndeeAfrika. Cancellation charges are calculated against the total booking value, and amounts already included in that total are not charged twice. If canceled 91 days or more before the trip start date, a cancellation charge of 30% of the total booking value applies.
If canceled between 90 and 61 days before the trip start date, a cancellation charge of 50% of the total booking value applies.
If canceled between 60 and 0 days before the trip start date — or in the event of a no-show, early departure or voluntarily unused services — a charge of 100% of the total booking value applies. Cancellation charges may become payable even where the full amount due has not yet been paid.
For festive-season travel and other services subject to specially disclosed supplier conditions, a 50% cancellation charge applies 121 days or more before the trip start date, and a 100% cancellation charge applies from 120 days before the trip start date. These exceptional conditions apply only when clearly disclosed in your proposal or invoice before payment.
Where a permit, issued flight, private villa, charter or other supplier service was specifically disclosed as non-refundable before payment, the actual non-refundable supplier charge may apply if it is greater than the standard cancellation percentage. Certain suppliers may also impose earlier deadlines or stricter conditions; where they apply, they are disclosed in your proposal or invoice before you pay and govern the services concerned.
Once camps, permits and flights are paid, those funds are committed — which is why section 03 requires cancellation and interruption cover from the moment you book.
If NndeeAfrika cancels or is unable to provide purchased travel services and you are not at fault or in violation of these agreed terms, amounts paid for services not provided will be refunded as required by applicable law; this does not limit any rights you may have under California law. Refunds, where owed, are returned where possible to the original payment method and in the original payment currency.
Comprehensive travel insurance is required and should be purchased immediately after confirmation. Coverage should include trip cancellation and interruption, medical treatment, emergency evacuation and repatriation, and baggage and personal effects. NndeeAfrika may request evidence of appropriate coverage before final travel documents are issued.
Some activities may require additional coverage — check with your insurance provider. NndeeAfrika does not sell insurance, act as an insurance adviser or guarantee that any policy will cover a particular loss; you are responsible for reviewing policy terms, exclusions and coverage limits directly with a licensed insurance provider.
In case of emergency, guests will be billed directly by the service provider. Note that AMREF Flying Doctors operates in East Africa only; elsewhere, evacuation must be covered by your travel insurance.
Advance payments: we make advance payments to secure your accommodations and services. If a tour is canceled due to force majeure (natural disasters, war, strikes and similar events), we will refund what we can recover from suppliers, but this is not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for costs incurred by travelers in preparation for a canceled trip, such as non-refundable airfare, visa fees, doctor’s fees, vaccinations or equipment.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have correct and sufficient insurance to cover yourself and your companions for the entire duration of your tour. NndeeAfrika LLC will not cover any costs or losses incurred without the appropriate insurance.
If the guest initiates a last-minute change to their safari itinerary — for example a change of accommodation or domestic flights — any amendment or cancellation fees are to be paid directly by the guest.
Once a booking is confirmed, the agreed price will not be changed because of ordinary currency fluctuations. NndeeAfrika may pass through documented increases in government taxes, park or conservation fees, transportation charges, supplier surcharges specifically reserved in the proposal, or costs resulting from traveler-requested changes. Any increase will be explained in writing before additional payment is requested.
Rates are based on two guests sharing a double room (king-size bed) or twin room (two separate beds), with triple and family rooms subject to the designed lodging. Single rooms are available at an additional supplement but are not guaranteed, depending on third-party accommodation terms.
Malaria: some areas you visit may have malaria. See your doctor before traveling and bring mosquito repellent. It is your responsibility to take anti-malarial precautions.
You need to be in good health for this trip, as you will be in rugged areas with limited medical facilities. By submitting your reservation form and deposit, you confirm you do not have any health conditions that could pose a risk to yourself or others.
If you have any health conditions requiring regular medication, or that might be affected by intense activities, high altitude or certain foods, please inform us in writing before traveling. We may request a doctor’s note to confirm you are fit for certain activities, and we reserve the right to assess suitability.
When booking domestic flights, NndeeAfrika requires guests’ passport details to reserve seats and issue tickets. Domestic flight cancellations are subject to the airline’s terms.
Light-aircraft luggage limits vary between 20kg (44lbs) and 15kg (33lbs) per person including hand luggage and camera equipment, depending on the carrier. Bags must be soft-sided with no rigid frames to fit aircraft belly pods, which are only 25cm (10in) high.
Passengers weighing 100–115kg (220–253lbs) may need to purchase an extra seat — please notify us in advance. Passengers not adhering to these regulations may need to book a private charter at additional cost; excess-luggage storage can be arranged in Maun or Kasane.
Seat-in-plane inter-camp light-aircraft transfers operate on a shuttle basis, which means air carriers cannot be held responsible for delays that result in passengers missing onward connections. Flight times are finalized only the day prior to travel and communicated to guests in camp. There may be between two and four stops when transferring between camps.
By law, the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) requires all light-aircraft manifests to show the full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number and expiry date of each passenger.
Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date of your arrangements and have a minimum of three blank visa pages, excluding endorsement pages.
Visa requirements differ from country to country and are subject to change. Travelers must assume responsibility for checking visa requirements for the countries they are visiting. NndeeAfrika LLC cannot be held responsible if any traveler is refused entry due to not complying with entry regulations.
To avoid being denied entry, please check whether any special documentation is required for children under the age of 18 in the countries you are visiting.
Once your booking is confirmed, your price is protected as described in section 06 — it will not change because of ordinary currency fluctuations, and any permitted pass-through increase is explained in writing before additional payment is requested. Quotations not yet confirmed remain subject to current rates.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that they and their dependents have all appropriate travel and medical documentation, including passports, travel permits, vaccination certificates and other required documents. It is your responsibility to report on time for all travel arrangements and to ensure you have all travel tickets and documents.
NndeeAfrika LLC shall not be held responsible for any additional costs if you fail to do so; in the case of passengers being refused entry by any immigration or other authority, all repatriation costs are to be borne by the traveler.
A safari takes place in wild, remote areas among free-roaming animals. By booking you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks, and agree to follow the instructions of your guides and camp staff at all times — they exist for your safety.
Guides and camp managers may curtail any activity for safety reasons, and we reserve the right to remove from the tour, without refund, any guest whose behavior endangers themselves, other guests, staff or wildlife.
We occasionally take photographs during trips for our website and social media. We will always ask before featuring you or your family recognizably, and you may decline — it never affects your trip. Photos you share with us are used only with your permission.
If something is not right during your trip, tell your guide or camp manager immediately so it can be fixed on the spot, and contact us directly — we answer day or night while you travel. If a matter cannot be resolved during the trip, write to us within 30 days of your return and we will respond within 14 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.

Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California. NndeeAfrika LLC participates in the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund. Before any payment is accepted, your proposal or confirmation invoice states NndeeAfrika LLC’s legal name, our business mailing address and contact details, our CST registration number, the total booking price, the amount being paid and its purpose, the itemized balance with the exact dates any future payments fall due, your itinerary including known transportation providers, the cancellation conditions applicable to your booking, every service specifically identified as non-refundable, and the applicable bond and Travel Consumer Restitution Fund disclosures.
Acceptance of terms
By proceeding with payment after these terms have been supplied to you, you accept them; our booking process records the version accepted and the timestamp of acceptance. Supplier-specific conditions apply only when disclosed before payment.
