Nairobi
Arrive Nairobi to a garden hotel in Karen, with a Sheldrick elephant-nursery visit arranged when booked well in advance — the public hour is time-specific and slots are limited.
Maasai Mara
Fly about 45 minutes from Wilson to a family conservancy camp with proper family suites — junior-ranger guides, tracking walks and a private vehicle reserved for the family.
Diani or Watamu
Fly from the Mara airstrips to the coast — scheduled routings generally connect through Wilson to Ukunda or Malindi. Four unhurried beach nights: connecting family rooms, reef-safe snorkeling and nobody watching the clock.

Zanzibar
A regional flight connects the Mara to Zanzibar, generally through Wilson or Kilimanjaro — intermediate stops are normal. Four barefoot nights on the island: spice-farm mornings, sandbank picnics and villa space for the whole family.
