Honeymoon safari questions
How long should an African honeymoon safari be?
Ten to fourteen days is the sweet spot — five to seven nights on safari across two camps, then four to six nights on the beach. It leaves room to arrive slowly and never feel rushed.
When is the best time to go?
June to October offers peak game viewing and dry, golden weather across both East and Southern Africa. For a quieter, greener honeymoon at gentler rates, January to March is a beautiful window.
Can we combine safari and beach?
Yes — it's the classic African honeymoon. A short flight connects the Serengeti or the Maasai Mara to Zanzibar, and Southern African safaris pair naturally with Mozambique, Mauritius or Cape Town.
Do lodges offer anything special for honeymooners?
Most of the camps we use offer honeymoon touches — private dinners, champagne sundowners and room upgrades where available. Tell us your dates and we'll plan the surprises with you.
