The Silo rises from a 1920s grain elevator above the Zeitz MOCAA museum — its upper floors rebuilt as suites behind bulging, faceted glass windows that turn Table Mountain, the harbor and the Atlantic into wraparound theater.

The Royal Portfolio runs it with maximalist glee: jewel-box interiors, a rooftop pool over the harbor lights, and the museum’s galleries literally downstairs.

A note from the founders

Six floors of pillowed glass above the V&A — the boldest hotel design in Africa.

Why book The Silo through NndeeAfrika

You never pay more than booking direct — usually less. And everything around your stay is handled.

01

A better rate, more journey

As a trade partner we access preferred rates and seasonal offers the hotel doesn’t always publish — you’ll never pay more than booking direct. And a hotel can only sell its own rooms; we build the journey around it: international flights, the right nights, and where you go next.

02

Door-to-door, no gaps

A private transfer waiting at Cape Town airport, connections timed to your route, and hosts who already know your name. Book direct and the gaps become your problem; book with us and there are none.

03

We know this hotel personally

We know its suite categories and which faces of the building hold the mountain versus the harbor — and when The Silo’s exuberance suits better than Ellerman’s hush.

04

One call if anything changes

A missed flight, a weather delay, a change of heart mid-trip — you contact one person, and we re-arrange everything behind the scenes. The hotel looks after you on property; we look after the whole journey.

The Silo FAQs

No — through NndeeAfrika you pay the same rate or better, never more. As a trade partner we access rates and seasonal offers not always published, and we also arrange your flights, private transfers and the rest of your South Africa itinerary, remaining your single point of contact throughout.

Three nights — city, mountain and a museum morning; the rooftop claims the evenings.

The Silo is theatrical and central — design, museum, waterfront buzz; Ellerman is residential and hushed — art, wine, ocean. Both are superb; your register decides, and we’ll match it honestly.

Add The Silo to your journey.
