The plot could accommodate twice as many houses, but only 56 were built, with direct sea-views and African-style roofing. Zuri is a luxury hotel located in Zanzibar, which boasts a private spice garden and an enormous tropical park. The garden was created by renowned gardeners and landscape designers, who took over two years to select the trees and flowers for the villas and bungalows.
