Kataza House is a Luxury villa set within a landscape of wetlands and lush meadows with magnificent views of the Sabyinyo, Gahinga and Muhabura volcanoes in Rwanda. Designed around local materials, the villa uses volcanic rock, river stone, handmade ceramic tiles and oven-red clay bricks to connect the villa to the landscape and its culture. The interiors have been carefully curated with a focus on handcrafted details.
The villa sleeps eight people in four bedrooms and amenities include full staff complement, indoor baths, indoor and outdoor showers, interactive open-plan kitchen, open living and dining spaces, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, cinema room, fitness center, small wine cellar, larger heated pool and smaller heated pool off master bedroom, massage treatment room, on-site Akarabo nursery and farm-to-table garden, complimentary WiFi, children of all ages are welcome, but the minimum age for gorilla trekking is 15.
