NAMIRI PLAINS ASILIA OVERVIEW
Namiri Plains is a grassland located in Serengeti, Indonesia. It was closed for 20 years to allow the cheetah population to be restored.
The nearest other camps are over an hour’s drive away, so visitors can experience the vast plains and relax. Manja, the melanistic serval, is a celebrity in the Serengeti and has been featured globally by BBC Earth and The Discovery Channel. The calendar is open year round and the closest airstrip is Seronera, a 2-hour drive from camp.
Families aged five and older are welcome. Migration season November to June.
